Aditya Pandya

Aditya Pandya was part of the Post School programme at the Valley School. He then completed a two-year Foundation course in Art and Design from Srishti, Bangalore. He teaches Art and English at Shibumi.

Angela Jain

Angela Jain has a B.Sc. in Chemistry and has studied at both Centre for Learning and The Valley School, where she was part of the Post-school Programme. She teaches Mathematics, Science and Photography at Shibumi.

Kabir Jaithirtha

Kabir Jaithirtha B.Sc. PGDM (I.I.M. Calcutta) is a Trustee of the Krishnamurti Foundation, India. He has over 30 years of experience as teacher and administrator in KFI schools and CFL.

Kamala Subramaniam has a post graduate degree in education. She has taught in schools in Madras, Hyderabad and Ahmedabad, as well as The Valley School, Bangalore, where she worked for over a decade. Centre for Learning began with eight students in her home. She is a trustee of Shibumi, and though she will not be teaching, she will be deeply involved in many other ways.

Roopa Devadasan

Roopa Devadasan is a Public health doctor who turned into a yoga teacher after twelve years of practising medicine. She has been teaching science and yoga to children for the last five years. She enjoys children (most of the time!), music and cycling.

Sangeetha Gowra

Sangeetha Gowra loves, among many other things, teaching Literature to school children. She has Masters degree in Literature, and has taught children of various age groups in the last few years.

Shalini Sekhar

Shalini Sekhar studied first at The Valley School, then did an external course in Mathematics and Economics through London University. She teaches Mathematics at Shibumi.

Sharad Jain

Sharad Jain finished his schooling at CFL and was part of the Post-school programme at The Valley School. He obtained a Bachelor's degree in commerce from the University of Delhi. He teaches Sports/Fitness, Hindi and Geography at Shibumi.

Tanushree Borundia

Tanushree Borundia completed her A levels at CFL and went on to obtain a Bsc in Psychology through the Madras University. Her keen interest in education and love for children lead her to many non-formal schools, where she explored education as a way of life.

Usha Mukunda studied English literature in Calcutta and later took a post graduate degree in Library Science from the Bangalore University. She worked at The Valley School and CFL, exploring ways of bringing about an appreciation of books and reading. She is a trustee of Shibumi, and is deeply involved with the school. Viju Jaithirtha

Vijaya Lakshmi Jaithirtha has a Ph.D in English Literature and has taught middle and senior classes in Krishnamurti schools for more than 25 years.
